Pakistan vs Zimbabwe | 2nd Test | Pakistan Completes Clean Sweep

The national team won the second Test by an innings and 147 runs.

Pak vs Zim | Pakistan won the second Test against Zimbabwe by an innings and 147 runs to win the Test series 0-2. 

On the last day of the Test, Luke Jongwe became the fifth victim of Shaheen Afridi by scoring 37 runs and the entire Zimbabwean team returned to the pavilion by scoring 231 runs. For Pakistan, Noman Ali and Shaheen Afridi took 5.5 wickets.

Earlier, on the third day of the second match of the series being played in Harare, Zimbabwe started batting for 52 runs for 4 wickets. 

Pak vs Zim | With the addition of one run, Hassan Ali got the wicket of Chesoro. When Zimbabwe's score reached 68, Hassan Ali ended Regis Chekabwa's 33-run individual innings. Luke Jongwe soon became Hassan Ali's wicket.

Donald Trypano and Roy Kaya completed the team's century and took the score to 108 but Sajid Khan did not allow Trypano to go beyond 23 runs.

Pakistan Completes Clean Sweep

Pak vs Zim | Roy Kayabhi also gave the wicket to Hassan Ali, he scored 11 runs, the last batsman to be out was Blessing Mazharbani who scored 7 runs and was run out while Richard Nigarwa scored 15 runs without being out. 

For Pakistan, Hassan Ali bowled brilliantly in the first innings of the second Test and took 5 wickets, Sajid Khan took 2 wickets, Shaheen Shah Afridi and Tabish Khan took one wicket each.

Pakistan vs Zimbabwe | When Pakistan decided to follow the hosts, Zimbabwe did not have a good start in the second innings and the first wicket fell to Trisai Masakanda for 13 runs. Shaheen Shah Afridi gave Pakistan the first wicket in the second innings. 

Zimbabwe needed 378 more runs to equalize the first innings deficit after the follow-on in the second innings but the start was disappointing and the first wicket fell to 13 when Shaheen Shah Afridi dismissed Masakanda.

Pakistan vs Zimbabwe | Zimbabwe wicketkeeper Regis Chikaboa and captain Brendon Taylor did resist, but Noman Ali and Shaheen Shah thwarted their intentions. 

Shaheen Shah Afridi dropped Taylor to 142 and did not give him a chance to complete his half-century. Regis Chekaboa played the highest innings of 80 runs but Noman Ali made him run at 170 runs.

Milton Shamba was dismissed for 16 runs. In the 55th over of the innings, Noman Ali hit two wickets for Zimbabwe and sent two batsmen to the pavilion. 

Pakistan vs ZimbabweLuke Jongwe scored 31 runs and is on the wicket while Mazharbani is playing at zero to support him. At the end of the third day of the Test, Pakistan needed just one wicket to win the series 0-2, while Zimbabwe needed 158 more runs to close the first-innings deficit. 

Earlier in the day, Pakistan declared their first innings at 510 for eight. Pakistan beat Zimbabwe in the first match of the series to take a 1-0 lead in the series.
