Pakistan Cricket News | Even before becoming the chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), Rameez Raja decided to remove captain Babar Azam from the captaincy of Test cricket. 

Private TV has claimed, citing sources, that Rameez Raja, the 59-year-old prospective chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board, is unhappy with Babar Azam's concerns over team selection. 

Pakistan Cricket News | According to sources, Rameez Raja is also angry over Babar Azam's telephone call in the team selection, while sources said that Babar Azam has been advised to improve his batting in Test cricket.

In his place, Mohammad Rizwan is likely to be made the captain of the Test team. Earlier, it was reported that Rameez Raja had changed the T20 squad selected in consultation with Babar Azam. 

Pakistan Cricket News | Babar Azam had included Sharjeel Khan, Fakhar Zaman, Faheem Ashraf and Usman Qadir in the squad but Rameez Raja removed the four players from the squad and replaced them with Asif Ali, Khushdil Shah, Azam Khan and Sohaib Maqsood. Babar Azam has also complained to his fellow players.
