Pakistan Cricket News | Pakistan beat Bangladesh by 8 wickets in Chittagong Test to take an unbeaten 1-0 lead in the two-Test series. 

On the last day of the match, Pakistan's first wicket fell for 151 runs and Abdullah Shafiq scored 73 runs and became LBW on the ball of Mehdi Hassan. The second wicket fell at 171 when Abid Ali was bowled out for 91 by Nervous Nantes.

Captain Babar Azam and Azhar Ali played calmly and led the team to victory. Babar Azam remained unbeaten on 13 and Azhar Ali on 24. 

Pakistan Cricket News | Taizul Islam and Mehdi Hassan took one wicket each for Bangladesh. Earlier, on the fourth day of play, Bangladesh started their second innings with 39 runs for the loss of four wickets but Hassan Ali soon bowled Bangladesh's veteran batsman Mushfiqur Rahim for 16 runs.

For Pakistan, Abid Ali and Abdullah Shafiq gave their team a great start in the second innings and both the batsmen completed their half centuries. 

Pakistan Cricket News | At the end of the fourth day's play, Abid Ali (56) and Abdullah Shafiq (53) were on the wickets while Pakistan needed another 93 runs to win. 

It may be recalled that Bangladesh scored 330 in their first innings thanks to the batting of Liton Das and Mushfiqur Rahim, in response to which the Pakistani team was bowled out for 286 in their first innings.
